Sustainability
We use either natural materials like cotton & jute fibres or upcycled plastic & textile waste, found locally, for weaving our products. While contributing to a circular economy, this also reduces your carbon footprint, one Sirohi product at a time.

What Makes Our Products Sustainable?
Hours To Weave
We provide a carefully calculated set of metrics during production to show you the sustainability of your purchase. One of the main components of this is the hours it takes our artisans to weave each product. This information is provided to highlight the intricacy of every Sirohi product.
Waste To Wow
This measures the amount of waste material that gets upcycled into a wow product. This measurement is carefully calculated for every Sirohi product so that our customers are aware of their contribution to a circular economy . An average Sirohi product is made from 12 lbs of waste/natural ropes.
Our Materials
We use clean and unused ropes and hygienic waste from packaging units, and fabric waste from textile units. These would otherwise have been dumped and discarded; adding to the global plastic waste. Instead, we upcycle these leftover materials into cords or ropes to make Sirohi products.
Cotton Cords
Black and White ropes made from waste cotton fibres.
We work with a natural dyer to colour these ropes for our indoor furniture.
Jute Fibres
Jute ropes are tensile and perfect for achieving a natural look in our indoor and outdoor furniture.
MLP Plastic Waste
We purchase ropes made from multi layer packaging waste. Our supplier converts trimmings of industrial food packaging waste..
The plastic in the material suits both indoor and outdoor conditions.
